1. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
The Paloni online store is run and owned by a Finnish company Paloni Ltd, Finnish Business Identity Code 2402780-6 (”Paloni”/”we”). All intellectual property rights are owned by Paloni and its designers.
Your (”You”/”customer”) use of the Paloni online store and/or any other content or information made available by Paloni and any products you may order via the online store is governed by these Terms and Conditions.
By accessing and / or using the Paloni online store You accept and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You do not accept these Terms and Conditions, do not access and / or use the online store.
If You are under 18 years old or a minor in your country of residence, You can only use the Paloni online store with permission and surveillance from your legal guardian. By accepting and complying with these Terms and Conditions, Paloni grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the online store solely for personal and non-commercial purposes (except for when the written product description specifically allows commercial use of a certain product) as written in these Terms and Conditions.
2. Provision and use of the online store
Paloni has the right to alter and amend the online store. Paloni may suspend the online store when necessary e.g. for installation, amendment or maintenance work or for other justifiable reasons. Paloni has the right to terminate the online store.
You agree to use the online store in a manner that does not cause harm to Paloni, its designers, other users of the online store or third parties. Paloni reserves the right to terminate or restrict your access to the online store without prior notice if You violate these Terms and Conditions or if you abuse the online store.
You must not misuse the website. You must not commit or encourage a criminal offence, transmit or distribute virus or any other material, which is malicious, technologically harmful, in breach of confidence or in any way offensive or obscene. You must not hack into service, corrupt data, cause annoyance to other users, send spam or try to affect the performance or functionality of any computer facilities of or accessed through this website.
Paloni may use subcontractors to fulfill its obligations in running the online store.
Paloni takes commercially reasonable effort to provide you with product information that is as accurate as possible. We cannot guarantee our pictures to display color, proportion and detail with 100 % accuracy.
Paloni and / or its designers own all rights to the online store as well as any material provided through the online store, including any design right, trademark, copyright, patent and any other intellectual property rights. You shall not receive any ownership rights by using the online store, and You shall not receive any design rights, trademark rights or other intellectual property rights of a product by purchasing it through the online store.
4. Payment Methods
A sale becomes binding between You and Paloni when Paloni receives your payment. Paying at the online store is very secure, easy and fast. We accept a variety of payment methods via Checkout including Finnish banks’ online payments and major international credit cards.
All payments are handled through a checkout service provided by Checkout Finland Oy (2196606-6). Checkout is controlled by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (www.finanssivalvonta.fi) and it also offers purchasing protection as a courtesy.
You can use the following methods of payment:
- Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Visa Electron.
- Bank Buttons: Osuuspankki, Sampo, Tapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Nordea, Paikallisosuuspankit, Säästöpankit, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken and S-Pankki.
All credit card payments are subject for a transaction between a customer (payer) and Suomen Ostolaskut Oy (2284303-3) payee, when Paloni is responsible for a delivery of the order to the customer and other legal actions.
5. Prices & Delivery
All the product prices and delivery charges include 23% VAT irrespective of the delivery destination. International customers are responsible for all taxes, duties and fees required by their customs services, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by You; Paloni has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; You should contact the respective local customs office for further information.
Potential postage cost will be automatically added to all orders when applicable, and they vary in accordance with the shipping destination, weight of the ordered products and other applicable practical factors. Instead of postage, You can also choose to pick up the ordered products from the Paloni store (Eerikinkatu 7, FI-00100 Helsinki, Finland) during its opening hours.
All the product prices and delivery charges are displayd in euros (EUR).
We reserve the right to change the prices.
We aim to dispatch all orders within three business days after the order has been confirmed. Thus you should have the order at your nearest Post Office within five business days inside Finland. The estimated production and delivery times of all made-to-order products are written on the product description of such products.
We reserve the right not to deliver the requested item (for example due to inaccurate stock level information). If the item you requested cannot be sent, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to order something else before cancelling the order.
If You do not receive the item(s) or if the delivery differs from your order, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our outmost to fix the issue.
Paloni cannot be held responsible for missing packages.
6. Order Confirmation
After You have paid for your purchase via Checkout, you will immediately receive a confirmation of Your order via email from both Paloni and Checkout. Please, contact email@example.com if you do not receive the confirmations.
All merchandise remains property of Paloni until full payment is received.
7. Cancellation and Returns
You have a fourteen-day (14) right to return or exchange a product according to Finnish consumer protection legislation. This right does not apply to custom-made products and / or made-to-order products that are produced and/or modified according to your order specifications.
You have the right to return a product if: 1. The order has been cancelled according to the terms and conditions by notifying the customer service firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of delivery; 2. The product has not been used, 3. The product is in the condition that You received it in and all the parts (e.g removable belts and hang tags) of the item(s) are included in the package and 4. The product has been repackaged into its original package or an equivalent.
The product must be returned immediately after cancellation.
When returning products You will be responsible for potential damages and losses.
Please ensure that You return item(s) with sufficient postage. Returns where postage is not paid will not be accepted.
When we have received the item(s) and all the criteria (1-4) listed above are fulfilled, we will send You the new item or give You a refund. Your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card or Your bank account. In Finland the amount refunded will include both the cost of return and the original delivery costs.

Paloni is committed to respecting the customer’s privacy. Paloni is the sole owner of the information collected on paloni.fi. The information is used entirely and only by Paloni, except in cases where Paloni uses third party agents to perform certain functions, such as payment processing by Checkout Finland, delivering packages and fulfilling orders. In those cases, Paloni provides only the information necessary for the performance of those specific functions.
Paloni does not transfer any information given by the customer to a third party for any other purpose than processing the order. Paloni will not sell, share or rent this information to any other entity for any reason.
Paloni reserves the right to transfer the information provided by the customer to the authorities in the case of infringement of laws and violation of good practice by the customer.
9. Force Majeure
If Paloni fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions because of unusual adverse circumstances outside of its control due to force majeure such as strikes, civil unrest, war or natural catastrophes, then Paloni cannot be held responsible.
10. Changes to the Service and this Agreement
Paloni reserves the right to make changes to the service of the online store, to its products, to policies, and these Terms and Conditions at any time.
11. Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Finland. Any contractual disputes are primarily settled through negotiations. Secondarily disputes are settled at the Helsinki District Court in Finland.
